We were a group of 10 people and I was impressed with the service - very friendly and efficient. We had to order the set menu and everything was fresh and delicious and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. My favourite dish was the hummus and the ice cream with baklava. The texture of the ice cream is a bit weird on the first bite but it's actually very nice.

Really good restaurant. Has great vegetarian options, we ordered the falafel, hummus and the potato dish. Dishes had a lot of flavour and we left full. Would recommend making a reservation as it gets very busy.

My friend and I decided to go for Syrian food as I genuinely didn’t know what their cuisine was. We only ordered 2/3 plates which for a mezze style is low, but we were on a budget. The hummus alone was 9.90 which while it was good, (especially the chickpeas which were absolutely lovely), is a little much. HOWEVER, do not let the price stop you if you can spend a bit, because the food at this place is outrageously good. We also had the roasted cauliflower, and the falafel, both of which I would defo recommend regardless of budget, and pitta and of course the hummus. The only reason service is 4 instead of 5, is that when we ordered, the server said to us “Thats not a lot of food” (which is reasonable for a mezze) however there was an undertone of disappointment or even a slight dismissal? What I’ll finally add is that while we FELT like there was attitude, the food came out in really good time, the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely (we sat by a window, had a breeze, exactly what was needed), and the food we got was PLENTY. 3 falafel each, 3 cauliflower each, and a pitta to share, and we felt like we had ordered perfectly in the end. If you’re visiting London, or have never had Syrian cuisine, absolutely give it a go.

It’s no wonder it’s so highly rated. The food is amazing. We had the lamb shoulder, the lamb skewers, the pita with herb and baba ganoush and was amazing as well as the round fried things (can’t remember what they’re called). Tea selection was great but wouldn’t recommend the hibiscus tea unless you like sour teas (:

I was welcomed by friendly staff, the decor was lovely and the seating very comfortable. The food was delicious I had Hummus and garlic pitta, lambs liver mezze and lamb shoulder and rice washed down with a Beirut beer. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I probably had enough for two people but was eating on my own so I left extremely full. Would highly recommend and would definitely go again.
